Kildimo Community Notes W/E March 21 2009

BOOK FAIR

The Limerick Book Fair will take place on Saturday next March 21, at St. John's Pavilion, commencing at 10.30 am and finishing at 5pm.
There will be the usual booksellers in attendance with a wide range of rare, out-of-print, and general used books. If you have any interest in history, this event offers a unique opportunity to acquire rare out-of-print works.

GOSPEL TRUTH

If you desire to get nearer to the ‘gospel truth’, then join the Wednesday evening’s Gospel study group at the Meeting Room in the Presbytery, Kildimo. The meetings begin at 8.00pm and will continue for the season of Lent. The emphasis of the present pastor is to do something positive for Lent, rather than doing something negative like denying yourself a favourite indulgence. All welcome!

ANNIVERSARIES

The following, whose anniversaries occur around this time, are remembered and Masses are being arranged: Bríd Murphy NT, Bolane and Baile an Eanaigh, Mícheal Hartney, Ballyculhane and New York, Birdie Cahill, Coolbeg (Saturday 21 at 7pm) and Michael and Eileen O’Brien, Court (Sunday March 22 at 12.00)
In Iothalann Dé go dtugtar sinn.

SHE’S 21!

John and Joanne Griffin must be feeling the accumulation of years with the twenty-first birthday of Jennifer. Family and friends were on hand to mark the occasion at the home hostelry with Mary Ellen in attendance along with Jennifer’s sisters Alison and Emma. The fit and able then decamped to the ‘Trinity Rooms’ for whatever it is they do there. Jennifer will be returning to her study of real estate as she enters her twenty-second year.
