This is a must for all who are interested in personal development with a pastoral orientation. It would be no exaggeration to say that there is something to interest everybody in this brochure. Allied to the activities of the Pastoral Centre there are many support groups, for example, the ‘Maguire Programme’ for those with speech difficulties and ‘Shine’ which is a self-help group for people living with Schizophrenia

HAITI

The Community Council are organising a social evening of dancing in The Seven Sisters on Friday February 12, in aid of the Haiti disaster. Tickets will shortly be on sale for €10, but the Council organisers are hoping for a big turn out on the night as a community ‘get-together’. Music for the occasion will be supplied by the popular band ‘Marina’ from Cork, well known to local dancing fans.
SOCCER

Kildimo Utd. U 12’s travelled to Adare and in spite of an early goal by Keith O’Donnell and strong performances from Kyle Hayes, Gerard and Jason Daly, the home team carried away the spoils on a score of 4 – 1. Tulla United were Kildimo’s opposition in the Fourth Round of the Munster Junior Cup in Clonreask recently. With John Chawke between the posts and support from M. Battles, K. Gallagher and S. Fitzgerald under the captaincy of Rory O’Donoghue, Tulla couldn’t breach the defences. K. Hogan opened up the Tulla defence on thirty five minutes and he added two more in the second half. Gallagher added another goal and Richie McKeogh’s inclusion in the second half closed off any return for Tulla who could only find the net once. John Tierney managed the team of John Chawke, M. Battles, Rory O'Donoghue (captain), K. Gallagher, Sean Fitzgerald, K. McMahon, E O'Brien, H. Geaney, C. Fitzgerald, K. Hogan, D. Deegan.

Subs: R. McKeogh (55 mins), Alan Fitzgerald (80 minutes), M. Dillon (80 mins), M. Keogh, D. O'Grady, Jack O'Connell, John Barry.
COMMUNITY LOTTO
On January 26, the Numbers drawn were 6, 10, 16 & 27. Because no punter predicted this combination, Lucky Dips of €20 each were drawn by Pat Costello, Mary Rogan, Mike Dillon, Snr., Ann O’Dea and Pat Kelly.
